Are you an experienced Receptionist/Administrative assistant or someone with transferrable skills who is good with people and can balance a varying workload? The Reception teams across Groves Health are the lynchpin of our business and support the Group to provide a first class service to our patients and the wider community.

The role:-

This is a varied role which will give you the opportunity to have exposure to different parts of Reception/Administration on a rotating basis within a busy GP surgery. Some of your duties will include:-

Booking telephone appointments with patients Managing the incoming email inbox and patient requests Responding to patient queries via the Practice website dashboard Greeting patients when they arrive in the Practice and dealing with queries Calling patients on behalf of GP's to book appointments and relay information Managing incoming mail and distributing/scanning accordingly Opening and closing the Practice Working with outside agencies such as Pharmacies and Care homes for patient care Registering new patients Using Practice software such as EMIS, Docman (training provided) and Office products

Confident and personable individual with the skill set to liaise with a diverse range of patients and colleagues Good written and verbal skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to work within a busy environment with varying business need Skilled in workload management Excellent customer service skills with the patience to listen and find resolution Conscientious of the work we do and the community we serve
