We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to provide a high-quality, welcoming front-of-house service to staff, students, and visitors at New College Pontefract.
In this busy front-of-house role, you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, managing bookings, parking, and lanyards. You'll handle enquiries, direct phone calls, and manage post and deliveries, all while delivering excellent customer service and representing the college with professionalism and warmth.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience in an administrative role is essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure. You should be well-organised, have a keen eye for detail, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. A good level of IT proficiency, including previous experience of using MS Word, Excel and computerised administration systems is also essential.
