As the Front Desk Receptionist you will...
Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit cards
Coordinate with other departments.
Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
A successful Receptionist is someone who:
Has Hospitality work experience
Knows PMS system, preferably Room Master
Has strong communication & interpersonal skills
Follows all company safety and security policies and procedures
Has excellent level of spoken and written English
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
Able to work independently and within a team
Flexible approach to working hours including evenings, weekends & Bank holidays
