The rapid pace of our growth has resulted in a sales increase in excess of 100% year on year since we were established in Burton-on-Trent in 2010. Building on our success, we are continuing to develop avenues for new business opportunities. Having recently opened our sixth depot in Nottingham, we have ambitious plans for further growth and business expansion.

Our rapid growth means that we currently operate from six locations - our main head office in Swadlincote in the East Midlands, Tipton in the West Midlands, Nottingham, Canvey Island, Bristol, and Glasgow.

Position

The post holder will play a vital role within the day-to-day operation of the business. Working in a fast-paced environment as a member of the office team, the post holder will ensure all telephone calls are directed to the correct department or person, whilst prioritising calls as applicable.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Answer incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner and directing them to the appropriate recipient.

\xc2\xb7 Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email to pass on messages.

\xc2\xb7 Taking messages and passing on all details accurately to the relevant department/person.

\xc2\xb7 Supporting the customer services department in dealing with and resolving customer queries.

\xc2\xb7 Contacting customers, or colleagues to pass on key information by both telephone and email.

\xc2\xb7 Completing general administration duties to support management, the customer service, sales, accounts, and other departments as required at the request of management.

\xc2\xb7 Process all administration requests as directed by management.

\xc2\xb7 Any other general administration tasks.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Able to show a high level of attention to detail to take and pass on clear messages.

\xc2\xb7 Flexible approach to working hours.

\xc2\xb7 Able to remain calm and focused in fast paced, high pressured environment.

\xc2\xb7 Driven, determined with a can-do attitude and positive approach.

\xc2\xb7 Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suites and Outlook.

\xc2\xb7 Has experience in using databases and programs.

\xc2\xb7 Able to work as part of a team and support colleagues as and when necessary.

\xc2\xb7 Effective interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Able to plan, organise and prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

\xc2\xb7 Able to quickly adapt to new systems, including in-house systems.

\xc2\xb7 Keep up to date with new information and changes in departments.

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated, with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently.

\xc2\xb7 Projects confidence and enthusiasm.

Salary between \xc2\xa324,383 pa depending on experience

Hours 45 per week Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 18.00
