About the Role

We are looking for a professional and personable Receptionist to provide a friendly and efficient front-of-house service. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff - helping ensure the home runs smoothly and securely.


This is a 6-month fixed-term contract for 22 hours per week, ideal for someone seeking part-time hours and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the daily life of a care home.

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly welcoming all visitors, residents, and professionals to the home Answering calls and handling queries or messages professionally Supporting basic administrative tasks including post handling, filing, and photocopying Logging maintenance issues and helping with general housekeeping duties during quieter periods Promoting a secure and safe environment by managing visitor sign-ins and building access Supporting the home's marketing by giving prospective residents and families tours

About You:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Presentable, approachable, and customer-focused Confident using basic computer systems Able to work independently and as part of a team Previous reception or administrative experience in a busy environment is desirable
