South Coast Nursing Homes is an established and successful, family owned and managed, care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex.

We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. We have 414 beds with the recent opening of a new Nursing home in central Worthing. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours - day and night, for long and short-term stays.

South Coast Nursing Homes are recruiting for a receptionist to join the team at our team at The Poets in Worthing.

Hours:

9am - 5pm - Monday to Friday

Suitable applicants would have reception experience and the ability to support in administration tasks.

Duties:

Providing front of house reception and resident support as appropriate. Answering incoming calls and taking accurate messages Responding to emails in a timely efficient manor Providing necessary administrative support to the Manager and team. Following up on active enquiries about the home Giving tours of the home to prospective residents and their families Arranging taxis and hospital transport for residents as required. Minute taking for staff and resident meetings

Essential:

Experience in a similar roll IT skills Excellent communication skills Passionate about offering superior services and want to make a difference Kind and caring with a positive approach Energetic and hard-working; Team player

We are looking for someone who has:

Confidence in their approach An ability to think on your feet and under pressure when dealing with multiple tasks Excellent communication with residents, families, managers and directors Good with their IT skills, such as Excel, Word, MS Office etc. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential A problem solver and solution provider as well as being a quick learner
