The Alverton Hotel are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join the team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service.

Job role:

We are searching for a friendly, professional and well organised person to join our team at The Alverton Hotel. The desired candidate will be a confident communicator and a great problem solver. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, greeting guests, ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out process and handling telephone and email enquiries.

This is a part time position, hours can be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner. Answer incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls to the appropriate personnel. Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment. Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. Respond to emails and other correspondence promptly.

Key Skills:

GCSE Maths and English Excellent personal presentation Must be reliable and punctual Communicate effectively with the team and guests, including listening to instructions Previous experience in a customer facing role
