Positioned at the Gateway to Mid-Wales, the Rhallt provides exceptional person-centred care for General Nursing and Dementia Nursing to the population of Powys, Shropshire and Gwynedd. With easily accessible road links and a conveniently located Rail station nearby, the Rhallt is nestled in the most beautiful location adjacent to Offa's Dyke Path, straddling the Montgomery Canal and the magnificent hills of the surrounding countryside.

We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring and organised Receptionist join our team. To provide an efficient receptionist service ensuring that residents, guests and all visitors to the home are treated courteously and efficiently at all times. We have a 30 hours contract available with an hourly rate of 12.60! Shift times are 0900-1700, with alternate weekend working.



Role Responsibilities:

Provision of an inviting and welcoming reception service to visitors, ensuring security is maintained at all times, including the maintenance of the visitors signing in records. Deal with prospective residents and their families who are enquiring about the home and show prospective residents and their families/carers around the home. Provide a receptionist service including answering telephone calls, dealing with enquiries and transferring calls to the appropriate department or person. To provide support to the Home Administrator as and when required.


Skills and experience required:

A welcoming and approachable attitude is essential. A well organised approach, maintaining a tidy environment and a helpful attitude are essential. The ability to build positive relationships with residents, relatives, staff and other visitors to the home is essential. Good time management skills are essential. Ability to work as part of a team to make sure the administration and receptionist department runs smoothly is essential.
