Job summary

To work with other receptionists / administrators and healthcare professionals to provide a high quality service to our patients. Provide the first point of contact support for patients and other visitors (face to face, telephone, digital) and provide administrative and / or secretarial support.

Main duties of the job

Receive and support patients to access appropriate healthcare services in a professional, courteous, efficient and effective way. Project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

Provide general administrative and / or secretarial assistance to the practice team to ensure that patients receive the high quality service that the practice aims for and that the practice runs in an efficient and effective way.

Overview of your organisation

Hillview Medical Centre is a busy practice in the heart of Woking We have 5 GP Partners and a salaried GP, two Advanced Nurse Practitioners, two practice nurses and two healthcare assistants.

The clinical team is supported by an organised and efficient administrative team.

Hillview is a training practice and supports a number of GP registrars, foundation year doctors and physician associates.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
