Administration Assistant - Join Our Team!





We're looking for an Administration Assistant to play a key role in keeping our service running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who is organised, calm under pressure, and confident in dealing with a wide range of people, including children, young people, families, and visitors. This is a part-time position, with working days scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.


What you'll do:




Reception & Front-of-House



You will be the first point of contact, providing a warm, professional reception experience. Using sensitive listening skills, you'll offer calm support even when individuals may be distressed, and ensure any concerns are passed on accurately. You'll also manage incoming/outgoing mail, handle deliveries, and keep reception and waiting areas tidy and welcoming. Maintaining diaries, meetings, and staff locations will also be part of your daily routine.


Administration & Record Keeping



You'll develop and maintain accurate electronic and manual records, update attendance information, and support the monitoring of family engagement and outcomes. You'll generate statistical reports, prepare documents for inspections, update essential policies, and create presentations or documentation when needed.


Finance Support



You'll process payments, respond to basic financial queries, and may manage and reconcile petty cash floats.


General Administrative Support



Your role will include arranging meetings, taking minutes, distributing papers, organising appointments, and providing cover where needed. You may also assist with opening and closing the building, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
