A position has arisen for an enthusiastic and responsible individual to join our busy mortgage department as a Receptionist/ Administration Assistant based at our Southport office.
Working 20 hours over 3 days, the right candidate will work on reception, greeting visitors and directing calls and as such, a friendly and professional manner is essential.
In addition, there will be a requirement to offer PA support to the Senior Director, Office Manager and administrative support to other members of staff.
The right applicant will be working within a team, whilst also being responsible for their own workload, initiating work tasks and procedures maintaining office efficiency.
The suitable candidate does not need to have a financial services background, although an understanding of the property market or banking would be advantageous. GCSE or equivalent passes in both Maths and English are desirable, however experience in administration, combined with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel, typing and outstanding customer service skills are essential.
Daily tasks will include :
Dealing with incoming emails
Meeting and greeting
Answering all incoming calls
Typing up reports
Scanning and photocopying
Letter typing
Dealing with new enquiries
Housekeeping
Submitting data via online platforms
. Hours are Monday & Tuesday 9am to 5pm and Wednesday 9am to 1pm.
A degree of flexibility with working hours is required to cover holiday and leave periods.
