Job Overview


We are seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team in a busy medical practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks and providing excellent customer service. They will have excellent communication skills, experience in working with the public and good IT skills are essential. They must also be reliable, self-motivated, organised and a good team worker with a sense of humour and be able to cope and remain calm under pressure in a busy environment.

The working hours will be on a rota basis between the hours of 0745-1800 Monday to Friday.

Duties


- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls with proper phone etiquette
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organised filing systems for documents
- Input information into computerised systems
- Support office operations by handling general administrative tasks
- Proficiently type correspondence

Experience


Required:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
