Receptionist/Administration Assistant
Watford Orthodontics, primarily a children's healthcare provider, is seeking an enthusiastic, competent and hardworking receptionist/ administrator to join our beautiful Orthodontic practice. We are located within modern premises, in the town centre, and have a friendly team. The practice is fully computerised and records are paperless. Our central location gives good access to transport links and all the facilities the town centre has to offer including shops, gyms and restaurants.
The ideal candidate would be someone with at least 1 years Dental/Orthodontic background but we are willing to train an exceptional candidate. GDC registration would be a big bonus but is not essential.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate would be within walking distance of the practice and considering a long-term position
- A good command of English language (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills, empathy and sensitive to the needs of children and their parents
- Punctual, reliable and organised
- Team player
- Well presented with a positive attitude
- Excellent computer skills and phone manner
This will be a full time role and will work alongside our experienced Practice manager to deal with day to day reception duties and patient queries.
The role will be Monday - Friday with some Saturdays.
Duties will include:
Assisting the Practice manager
Booking appointments
Answering calls/dealing with voicemails and emails
Entering data into dental systems and keeping a log on excel spreadsheets
Collecting payments
Being able work on own imitative if practice manager is not available is important.
We have a great team of staff and need a good receptionist to complete the team. We will provide access to training in safeguarding, CPR and GDPR.
