The Receptionist/Administrator is a part time permanent job share role (Thursday, Friday, Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, off 5 days then back the following Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). The role would be on rotation with our current receptionist/administrator.

The Role:
The role of Receptionist/Administrator includes but is not limited to:
Welcome visitors to school.
Answering the telephone and door entry system.
Create and maintain pupils' files, including filing of correspondence.
Ordering packed lunches for school trips.
Administer girls' first aid and medication in the absence of the school nurse.
After school care, holiday club and homework club registers.
Sending communications to parents.
Hospitality and catering, including replenishment of refreshment materials such as tea coffees, biscuits for in school events.
Assisting with room bookings and room preparation.
Preparing name labels, signing in sheets and all other administration for parents' evenings
Preparation of a weekly diary to be shared with parents.
Photocopying and production event programmes (if reprographics support is unavailable).
Production of certificates for Mini Speech Day.
Any other administrative tasks required across the school.
The ideal candidate will be sympathetic to the values of our all through independent girls school. They will have strong interpersonal skills as well as having the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast paced front office environment. They will have strong organisational skills, be proactive, have a can-do attitude along with having a flexible and adaptive approach to tackle challenges with a positive mindset.
