We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for referring practices and pet owners, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth administrative operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing front desk activities, supporting administrative tasks, and maintaining an efficient office flow.
Responsibilities
Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette
Manage appointment scheduling and calendar organisation
Maintain organised records and filing systems, both electronically and physically
Assist with administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Support office operations by coordinating with other staff members as needed
Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and professional at all times
Requirements
Previous veterinary admin and insurance experience or administrative experience preferred
Strong computer skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Organised with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
