The Opportunities
We have a vacancy for
a Receptionist/Administrator
at Denmark Road Medical Centre Winton. This role will involve supporting the smooth running of the surgery by providing both reception and administrative support.
Provide an effective and efficient reception service for patients and visitors.
Facilitate effective communication between patients, the primary healthcare team, secondary care, and other agencies.
Prepare and tidy consulting rooms.
Manage appointments, enquiries, and follow-up requests.
Ensure urgent cases are seen promptly and appropriately.
Record and relay accurate messages, including visit requests, deaths, and home visit details.
Support the team with a variety of administrative and clerical duties.
Welcome and register new patients, explaining practice arrangements clearly.
Assist patients courteously and efficiently in accessing appropriate services.
About You
Previous experience in a reception or administration role (healthcare experience desirable but not essential).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a busy environment.
A positive, approachable manner with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
