We have a fabulous opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident Receptionist to come and join our lovely team.
The practice is well established and busy and would be ideal for someone with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, who is proud to provide the very best treatment and care to our clients and patients. Each day will be interesting and varied and you will be fully supported along the way by our team.
You must be available to work every other Saturday from 9-1pm.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Open up and closing down the surgery
Greeting clients in a welcoming and professional manner
Reception duties - answering phones, making appointments, taking payments, checking in clients and dealing with queries
Booking in operations
Taking food and medication orders
Sending booster recalls to clients
Administration of Pet Discount Scheme and GDPR
Aged debtors
Review and action emails
Relaying complex messages from clients to members of staff
Cashing up and balancing monies
Stock control and placing stock orders
Completion of any admin, paperwork and filing
Sending thank you cards and welcome packs etc to clients
Holiday and sickness cover
Minimum of 1 year experience required.
This is not an exhaustive list of all the duties, there may be additional depending on business demands.
Candidates must be able to multi task, possess excellent customer skills, have cash handling/balancing experience and be able to work well under pressure. You must enjoy working with animals. You will need to be able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team. GCSE Maths and English are required at Level 4 /C.
