Job Description

Eyre Medical Practice are looking for an experienced receptionist with excellent communication and organisation skills to join our friendly practice team.

The practice is situated in Edinburgh new town and is easily accessed by bus, train or tram with many local facilities & shops nearby.

The post will be Monday to Friday 1.30-6pm (22.5 hrs per week) with the flexibility to work variable hours if required.

Main tasks of the position include reception duties, dealing with patient enquiries over the phone and in person, managing appointments, scanning & filing of patient documents and carrying out other administrative duties as required.

Applicants should have excellent communication and organisational skills with a courteous and friendly approach.

Previous experience of working within a practice setting would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.

Salary 24,375 - 26,375 pro rata
