Receptionist

on a full-time basis.

Role Overview:



As the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere at Ennova Law. This varied role provides essential support to the firm and the Office Manager. The successful candidate will manage the front desk, handle a variety of administrative tasks, and assist various departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:



Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, both in person and via telephone. Manage the reception inbox, responding to queries promptly and efficiently. Maintain stationery, kitchen, and office supplies for both our Edinburgh and Dundee offices. Ensure meeting rooms are maintained and greet visitors professionally. Arrange couriers and taxis as required. Prepare cheques for banking, process credit card payments, and record invoices for the finance department. Conduct weekly fire alarm testing and arrange scheduled health & safety checks. Liaise with the cleaner and coordinate confidential waste and recycling uplifts. Manage on-site and off-site archiving. Chase aged debts. HR Administration: updating holiday and sickness records, drafting offer letters and posting job ads online. Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager as required.

Key Skills and Experience:



To be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience in a similar role; experience within a professional services environment would be beneficial but is not essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A professional attitude and appearance. A customer-service-oriented approach with a friendly and welcoming demeanour. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. A high level of discretion, as our work is highly confidential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Hours of Work:



This is a fully office-based role, Monday to Friday, with the following shift pattern:

9am - 5 pm
