We are looking for a professional, hardworking and friendly team player to join our surgery team. The successful candidate will have a responsible for assisting patients with queries and booking appointments both face to face and over the telephone. The role also includes administrative duties such as dealing with hospital letters, emails and processing prescriptions etc. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and administrative skills, as well as a pleasant personality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high speed, high pressure environment. Additionally, this position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Flexibility is required for shifts between the times of 07:45 and 18:45 Monday - Friday.
The successful candidate must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check and have GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths.
