Here at Orby Vets, we are looking for a friendly and caring Animal Care Assistant/Receptionist to join our fantastic team!

About the rota

This is a fixed-term position to cover 12 months. You will be working 38 hours per week and there will be varied shift patterns, however these can be negotiated on the needs for the practice and the candidate. The shift patterns would include:8.45am -6.30pm (3 days per week) 8.45am-4.45pm (1 day per week)

About the role

As the first point of contact, our receptionists and animal care assistants play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets have a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm and compassionate demeanour, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Hopefully this combined role will offer the right applicant a role where they can learn new skills or refine current ones.
