Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly individual to join our team and take on our new role of Pub Host & Hotel Receptionist combined. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, whether they are staying for a few nights or just popping for a drink. Providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the guest experience is the priority.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software, and will work on 5 out of 7 days.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
Answer phone calls, manage inquiries from hotel & restaurant bookings, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a tidy and organised reception area & host area.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Arrange Billing and Check guests In & Out of Rooms
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Help in the restaurant at times
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role is preferred.
Previous experience hosting the welcome desk in a pub/restaurant is also preferred.
Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
