Learn Trade Skills Ltd is a leading electrical training centre, with ambitions to expand our training courses. Our mission is to provide high-quality, hands-on training that helps individuals kickstart or enhance their careers in skilled trades. We're looking for a warm, organised, and proactive individual to be the welcoming face of our centre, support our Director with day-to-day tasks, and assist in capturing marketing video content.
Role Overview
In this multi-faceted role, you will be responsible for front-of-house reception duties, providing personal assistant support to the Director,. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to blend organisation, administration and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet visitors, students, and trainers in a friendly, professional manner
Handle inbound calls and emails, directing queries to the appropriate team member
Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
Admin Duties - Registering students etc
Exam Scheduling and Invigilating
Personal Assistant Responsibilities
Reception Duties
Manage the Director's calendar, scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements
Handle confidential information with discretion
Prepare documents, presentations, and reports as required
Assist with general office administration and support day-to-day operational tasks
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
Previous experience in a front-desk, administrative, or PA role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Comfortable using basic computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A friendly, approachable manner with strong customer service skills
Ability to take simple video footage using a smartphone or basic camera equipment
Desirable
Interest in education, training, or the skilled trades sector
An enthusiastic, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
