An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the reception team at Thonock Park as a Receptionist/Sales Assistant. The role is part-time, working 16 hours over four mornings a week, and reports directly to the Sales and Events Manager. Flexibility is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including covering holidays and busy periods when needed.
This position will be the first point of contact for many of our guests and customers. From the initial welcome, through to the details in the booking process and then issuance of contract, you will be working hand-in-hand with our customers, ensuring an exceptional and personalised experience is had.
Key responsibilities:
Handle incoming events and booking enquiries
Professionally and effectively communicate with all levels of the Thonock Park team, customers, email communication and in person
Coordinate bookings, function details and events alongside the Operational team
Administrative duties for golf, hotel, Food & Beverage, events and general operations
Reception duties
Conducting client show rounds and working at external exhibition events (when required)
Other sales, marketing and reception related duties.
Essential qualifications and experience:
The ideal addition to our team will have experience handling booking enquiries, possess an exceptional telephone manner and be able to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues
Experience of hospitality; working at a Golf Club and/or Food & Beverage venue would be advantageous.
IT literacy with experience of the Microsoft Office suite.
