We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Typist to join our administrative team. This role involves providing accurate and timely data entry, document preparation, and general clerical support. Duties
Transcribe handwritten or audio recordings into digital documents with precision and speed
Prepare, format, and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Manage data entry tasks accurately using programmes such as QuickBooks and specialised databases
Maintain organised filing systems both digitally and physically
Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
Support team members with clerical duties to ensure smooth office operations
Perform routine office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and distributing documents
Skills
Proven office experience or administrative background
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Experience with data entry and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
Excellent typing speed with high accuracy levels
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated clerical experience with attention to detail in document preparation and record keeping
Strong phone etiquette combined with clear communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
