About the role:




Are you meticulous, organised, and detail-oriented? We're seeking a Reconciliation Assistant to join our team and play a central role in managing controls, banking, and reconciliation for our Direct Travel Division. Reporting to the Channel Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of customer files to facilitate correct payments to suppliers and homeworkers.


As our

Reconciliation Assistant

, you'll be the cornerstone of our financial processes, managing daily, weekly, and monthly control reports to ensure compliance without exception. You'll also be involved in the homeworker leaver process and contribute to meeting deadlines in line with service level agreements to minimize risk.


As part of this role, your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining the control of financial reports, to include Control, Debtors, No Match, Amendments and other relevant reports Correction of files in order for correct supplier and homeworker payments to be made Meeting with the Ops Manager regularly to make recommendations on action required to correct any oversights or omissions Keeping up to date with society training and operations processes Managing the daily BACS report and reconciling payments

Who are we looking for?




To be successful in this role, you will have:

English & Maths GCSE Grade C or above

2 years previous experience in Administration and Customer Service, both Face to Face and over the phone

Competent computer skills

Ability to work under own initiative

Ability to prioritise and arrange work to meet deadlines
Excellent IT skills, demonstrated competence in office and Finance software packages. Intermediate level Excel

Experience in a Finance department/role is desirable.

Experience in a similar role would be desirable.
