We are now looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Reconciliations Clerk to join our finance team.

Role Overview:


As a Reconciliations Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Your day-to-day work will involve posting invoices, reconciling transactions, and ensuring our ledger is clean and current.

Key Responsibilities:



Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations using Sage One Input Soldo invoices onto Sage One accurately and promptly Port documents and invoices from Dext Prepare to Sage Clear backlog of Soldo items requiring posting and reconciliation Reconcile client accounts and internal ledgers Clean up the ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts and transactions Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare reconciliation reports for management Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required The ability to work work independently and problem solve and reconcile.

Requirements:



Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role (ideally 1-2 years+) Proficiency with Sage One and Dext Prepare Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good understanding of reconciliation processes and accounting principles Competent in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Desirable:



AAT qualification (or currently studying) Experience in a high-volume transactional environment
Job Type: Full time/Part time

Salary: 27,000 per year, pro-rated for PT
