Main duties include:

Line Manage the Recovery Academy Support Workers, Security Concierges and RIOT staff taking overall responsibility for supervision and appraisal, keeping accurate records and supporting staff to develop key skills and progress.

Ensure clients receive relevant resettlement support and advice as part of the residential care plan and aftercare planning

Take operational responsibility for the development of the Recovery Academy Job Club.

Develop and manage the Recovery Academy prospectus.

In conjunction with the HR Manager and BAC O'Connor staff, take a leading role in the developing a cohort of volunteers and Recovery Champions ensuring they receive the support they need to develop key skills and progress into paid employment.

Maintain an overall programme of activity and volunteer opportunities across RIOT and the Job Club, building upon the developed volunteers' opportunities in places such as Langan's Tea Rooms and Noreen's Recovery Lounge.

Develop a training plan for beneficiaries. Liaise with other managers within the BAC O'Connor to produce roles and responsibilities for all volunteers, plan activities and complete a skills matrix to monitor development and training needs.

Develop external partnerships with training providers to produce and deliver an accredited training programme for beneficiaries

Build upon existing relationships with external agencies and partners

Attend networking events to promote the BAC O'Connor

Ensure that the BAC O'Connor is represented in community events raising the profile of recovery

Be operationally responsible for the job club, training and supporting beneficiaries to be as independent as possible in looking for work and using IT.

Ensure key actions, training needs, job applications and attendance at the job club are accurately recorded on each beneficiary's performance development review (PDR).

Ensure beneficiaries are supported to complete application forms, develop CV's and research opportunities including business start-ups and self-employment opportunities.

Maintain and Develop systems and processes for collecting performance and outcome data relating to each service area.

Produce reports for the Chief Executive Officer, Trustees and external partners on a quarterly basis or as and when required

Support Recovery Academy Support Workers to ensure all discharge procedures are followed when a client leaves the Recovery House

Support Recovery Academy staff to ensure housing benefit is in place for service users, debt management plans are in place

Attend manager's meetings and actively participate in focus groups created to develop strategies for volunteer involvement
