About the Role



We are excited to offer the opportunity for a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Coordinator to join our Forward Leeds Active Recovery team supporting people whose primary substance is heroin.

What You'll Do



This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will:

Manage a caseload by creating, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans. Facilitate and promote the progression of individuals from initial engagement into structured treatment. Support clients in various different treatment stages, from initial assessment to exiting treatment, accessing sustained recovery and aftercare. Contribute to reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community. Collaborate closely with key partners and colleagues across the street to support partnerships to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals.

To Succeed in This Role, You'll Need:



We are looking for individuals with a burning passion to make a difference, where equal opportunities are the heart of everything you do. To thrive in this role, you should possess:

Experience working in substance misuse, mental health or criminal justice. Exceptional understanding and ability to implement interventions, including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT, and ITEP. Experience in delivering 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions.

The salary advertised above demonstrates the full earning potential for this role, starting salaries will allow for pay progression within the pay band.
