Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a7.5 ton driver for a full time permanent position under contract this will be a salary basis job with competitive rates and great benefits. Ideally candidates will posses skills and knowledge in the recovery industry as well as some mechanical experience in changing flat tyres, batteries etc at the roadside however full training will be given. Candidates will be expected to undergo a licence check to ensure the information given is correct and for insurance purposes. The ideal candidate must posses skills such as:

5 Days on 24 hour call & 2 days off Good communication Great customer services Being able to work alone as well as part of a team Well presented Use initiative Willingness to learn and enhance current skills Must be able to pass police vetting
All candidates must have:

7.5 TON LICENCE
Prospective drivers must have a clean licence with no more than three (3) points and must not have any TT, DR or DD offences on their driving record. It is required for prospective candidates to hold:

CPC Tacho card Must be able to pass police vetting
Responsibilities

Operate 7.5 TON recovery vehicles to transport and recover vehicles safely. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Utilize flatbed equipment for secure vehicle loading and unloading. Provide excellent customer service during vehicle recovery and delivery. Maintain mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs and troubleshoot issues. Document recovery operations and report any incidents or damages as required.
