We are looking for compassionate and proactive

Recovery Support Workers

to join our dedicated team. We are a 16 bed supported accommodation based in Manchester, which supports individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health needs--helping them live independently.

Job Summary

Supporting tenants with all areas of daily living, enabling them to be as independent as possible in line with a recovery-based model of support.

Have a knowledge and understanding of individual tenant's support plans and risk management support plans.

Supporting tenants with personal care, cooking, and cleaning.

Supporting and educating tenants with personal appearance, self-esteem, and confidence.

Key-working tenants to plan and achieve personal goals with interprofessional support where needed.

Supporting tenants with routine appointments e.g., doctors, hospital, dentist etc.

Maintaining and keeping accurate daily records, ensuring that reports are factual, and person centred.

Supporting tenants with community access, such as shopping, social clubs, and use of local facilities.

Encouraging community engagement with support as needed.

Ensuring your own mandatory training is up to date.

Working in a safe and respectful manner and ensuring tenants are safeguarded from harm or abuse.

Reporting accidents/incidents as they occur to Team Leaders and the Registered Manager and completing necessary report forms and documentation.

Undertaking other tasks set out by the Team Leader and Registered Manager.

Role Specifics:

Experience working in a residential/nursing/supported accommodation environment. To be fully flexible to work a variety of shifts, including long days, waking nights weekends and bank holidays. Enhanced DBS Full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
