Location:
Home-Based.Work from Home 2-3 days per week, 2-3 days per week leading Assessment/Observation Days. We aim to keep you as close to home as possible on these days, there will be occasional overnight travel. Spend 1 day per month at Bohunt Manor, Liphook for team training/meetings. Hours:
35 hours per week. Flexibility required - various shifts including 8am-4pm & 10am-6pm.
Please note: This is an office-based contract, you will receive 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
This role will require some travel to support Recruitment activity. The successful candidate must be happy to lead Assessment Days and Observations in their region, and embody all of the qualities of a true ambassador of Rocksteady, and is ready to take on an important role in our future hiring strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end to end Recruitment process for Band Leader vacancies ensuring a positive candidate experience
Lead facilitator and decision maker at final stage teaching observations for Band Leader vacancies
Lead assessment day and candidate tables at Assessment Days for Band Leader vacancies
Lead video interviews for Band Leader vacancies
Support the coordination activities of Assessment Days and Observation Days including relationship building with schools and planning of resources
Support with application review and interviewing for non-band leader roles where required
Provide high quality recruitment journey for all Non-Band Leader candidates including candidate updates, feedback calls and managing careers inbox queries.

Manage end-to-end recruitment for
non-band leader roles
, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and leading assessment days.
Facilitate final-stage interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout.
Partner with Hiring Managers to understand their needs and tailor recruitment processes accordingly.
Build and nurture talent pools for current and future non-band leader vacancies.
Provide timely candidate updates, deliver feedback calls, and respond to career inbox queries with professionalism and care.
Support Band Leader recruitment as needed:
+ Review applications and conduct 1st & 2nd stage video interviews.
+ Lead tables at Band Leader assessment days and assist with observations. Actively source and headhunt for all roles using platforms such as LinkedIn and CV databases.
Represent Rocksteady at job fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to promote our employer brand.
We're looking for someone with the following background and skills:
Experience in end-to-end recruitment
(in-house or agency), ideally in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interviewing skills, with confidence in running assessments and facilitating final-stage interviews.
Proven experience working directly with hiring managers or stakeholders to shape recruitment processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a candidate-first mindset.
Comfortable using an ATS and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, CV databases).
Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Passion for people, great organisation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in education, music, or youth-focused sectors is a bonus but not essential.
