As a Recruiter, you will assist Hiring Managers in filling open positions by offering expert guidance and ensuring quality throughout the recruitment process. You will be responsible for creating and delivering excellent recruitment services and following the established service agreements. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process working in conjunction with colleagues in teams such as Sourcing and Administration, utilizing relevant recruitment technology applications. You'll engage directly with the client where you will give expert advice and manage their expectations at every stage of the hiring process.

Key Accountabilities



What you'll be doing:




Client Stakeholder Relationships




Create and maintain trusted partner relationships with Senior hiring managers/stakeholders across the technology business. Independent execution of the end-to-end delivery of recruitment services to them, providing counsel, advising through insight and SME knowledge on the recruitment process and ensuring that timelines are correctly identified and met Lead discussion on attraction strategies, working with hiring managers to correctly identify approach based on market and hiring demands Make recommendations for best fit and skills profile, coaching hiring managers on what may or may not be achievable

Recruitment Delivery




Take full ownership to ensure the recruitment service is delivered in line with contractual obligations and client service level agreements Lead vacancy consultation discussions with hiring managers- this includes role requirements, sourcing strategy, pay range, agreed timeframes, responsibilities of all involved, and the selection process Provide high-quality candidates for shortlist to the hiring manager Deliver excellent candidate experience ; managing candidate satisfaction with the recruitment experience, from initial interview to start date Support the hiring manager with hiring decisions and guide them in determining an appropriate offer; lead the (often complex) offer process and negotiations to close the candidate Anticipate potential stakeholder issues within own area of expertise, taking action to address, and using judgement to escalate appropriately Proactively manage the future demand by facilitating demand planning meetings to discuss forecasts with client resourcing lead team Build proactive pipelining strategies and share insights with hiring managers to support strategic decision-making and execution outside of live demand. Reports regularly on progress of Talent Pool Share and implement knowledge gained from other teams to enhance own recruitment delivery

Technology and Compliance




Ensure that all changes to a candidate's status and requisition updates are tracked in real time in all relevant systems Ensure compliance with legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors, OFCCP, data management techniques or similar local legislative requirements) Identify and track compliance risks in line with the overall AMS Risk Management Framework and suggest solutions.

Skills & Experience



You'll need to demonstrate:




Proven experience recruiting for highly technical roles within Financial Services, including AI (Generative AI and Agentic AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science Analytics-heavy roles, blockchain/crypto hiring or quantitative research Have in-depth local knowledge of the Technical market especially focused on the Central Belt. Experience of developing and delivering end-to-end recruitment campaign strategies to meet client requirements Worked with, and presented to and solved issues for clients and candidates, including Hiring Managers Expert in behavioural / competency-based interviewing Experience of working to and achieving demanding targets, ratios and SLAs Able to demonstrate a broader understanding of the clients business and strategies and how they influence AMS Service Delivery Able to act autonomously, potentially responsible for own business areas on a standalone basis Understanding of legislation affecting area of work Expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising and database searching)
