*Please note: This role requires travelling to multiple live operational prison environments and you will be in direct contact with inmates who are currently serving a sentence. An enhanced CRC check and vetting check (5 year employment & housing history) is required for this role*

Pay Rate: \xc2\xa325,254.24
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Location: This role can be based in either Hatfield (AL10 9TR) or Manchester (M17 1TW)

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HMPPS Rehabilitation Administrator to support DHL\'s Rehabilitation activities as part of the HMPPS contract. The role holder will support the Rehabilitation Manager with the recording, monitoring and reporting of all Rehab activities. They will be support with the development of new relationships and maintain existing relationships which will increase opportunities for employment for ex-offenders

What does this job involve?

  • Assist with the recruitment of ex-offenders upon their release from prison
  • Work with third party organisations to support the recruitment process prior to offenders being released
  • Assist with the administration of the day-to-day running and reporting of the Key Academy
  • Managing multiple email accounts
  • Assisting with the management of the ROTL (Release on Temporary Licence)programme
  • Follow up with employed ex-offenders to monitor and report progress post release
  • Work with the rehabilitation manager on future development of communication plan for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide employment support to serving offenders in the form of Mock Interviews
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and communication
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Experienced administrator with knowledge of all Microsoft packages, especially Excel
  • IT Literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
  • Experience in preparing and delivering power point presentations and newsletters
  • The employee should be prepared to work in a "prison environment" working directly with prisoners with a passion for changing their lives
  • Have the ability and be comfortable in hearing graphic disclosures
  • Willingness to travel - Full Valid UK Driving License - Expenses provided for use of own vehicle and overnight accommodation
