Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Candidate Resourcing & Recruitment:



Source apprenticeship candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and internal databases. Screen candidates via telephone, video, and face-to-face interviews. Assess candidate suitability against apprenticeship standards and employer requirements. Maintain accurate candidate records on CRM system.

Apprentice Placement & Matching:



Match candidates to appropriate apprenticeship vacancies. Prepare candidates for interviews (CV support, interview guidance, expectations). Coordinate interviews between candidates and employers. Support successful onboarding and placement of apprentices.

Employer & Stakeholder Support:



Liaise with employers to understand vacancy requirements and workforce needs. Provide timely updates to employers on candidate progress. Support employer engagement teams with vacancy fulfilment.

Administration & Compliance:



Ensure all candidate documentation is complete and compliant. Support eligibility checks and right-to-work requirements. Maintain GDPR-compliant records. Track placement outcomes and report on KPIs.

Continuous Improvement:



Contribute to improving recruitment and placement processes. Support marketing and outreach activities to attract new applicants. Participate in training and development as part of the apprenticeship programme.

Skills & Attributes:



Essential:



Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organised with good attention to detail. Confident using IT systems (MS Office, CRM databases). Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities. Professional, proactive, and customer-focused.

Desirable:



Interest in recruitment, HR, or apprenticeships. Experience of working in an office or customer-facing role. Familiarity with social media recruitment platforms.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 30,000.00 per year

Birmingham B5 4EW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
