The Recruitment and Training Manager is responsible for developing a robust and proactive approach to recruitment, selection and onboarding and will work closely with operational management in regards to ensuring that there is a high volume of excellent quality candidates in the pipeline in order to assist the branch to meet growth targets.
The Recruitment and Training manager will also be responsible for coordinating and implementing mandatory and sector relevant training to ensure that all of our care professionals are suitably trained and qualified to deliver the highest quality of care in addition will also focus on developing and delivering initiatives which drive carer retention.
Duties
? Responsible for the delivery of all aspects of Recruitment & Training
? Create and post innovative and engaging Job adverts
? Deliver effective, timely and cost effective, non-discriminatory recruitment and selection processes
? Ensure legislation and best practice compliance is adhered to throughout the recruitment and selection process.
? Conduct regular market analysis to understand local market competition and industry sector challenges / opportunities
? Identify and implement potential solutions to resourcing barriers / challenges
? Work with managers to identify upcoming recruitment requirements
? Use a range of networking channels to develop candidate databases
? Be active and present in the local marketplace, attending events and using networking opportunities to develop brand awareness and build a good flow of passive applicants
? Maintain accurate administration of all recruitment and training processes, storing all data in line with data protection regulations
? Conduct, review and record reference checks, apply for and review DBS checks.
? Plan and coordinate staff to attend e-learning and classroom based training sessions and record details of training attended and completed
? Implement, facilitate and support classroom based training sessions
Qualifications
Proven experience in a recruitment or human resources role
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated expertise in relationship management.
Experience in using multi-channel candidate attraction techniques.
Familiarity with lead generation techniques and social media management for sourcing candidates.
Competent IT skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within the recruitment process.
Commitment to working in a caring led environment.
Produce new ideas, approaches or insights; create innovative solutions to problems.
