We work with partners from Local Authorities, Housing Associations and developers, to educators, corporates and business networks.
We're growing fast, and looking for a talented and motivated
Recruitment Consultant
to join our team. You will be driving forward some of the most ambitious and impactful employment programmes in the UK, with a particular focus on construction, green skills and the wider built environment. We're open to a range of experience levels.
You'll be part of a purpose driven team that cares about the communities and people we serve, as well as playing our part in tackling climate change - and allows you to be yourself, develop your skills and have fun.
The Role
The Recruitment Consultant will be engaging with businesses of all sizes, our training partners and other networks to unlock job opportunities at scale - then using a variety of routes to engage, support and place local candidates. In particular you will be working closely with our training partners and their learners on-site, to ensure a consistently high quality of candidate
Key Activities:
Candidate sourcing and screening
: Identify, attract, and engage suitable candidates through job boards and referrals from our partners; conduct interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Job Advertising & Marketing
: Write compelling job adverts, promote opportunities across multiple platforms including in person jobs fair to attract top talent.
Client Relationship Management
: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs, providing tailored recruitment solutions, and offering market insights, particularly in construction and green skills. Work closely with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to manage partnerships and align delivery.
Candidate Support and Sessions
: Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to learners, including employability sessions, CV and interview prep, and confidence building, to help them progress into work.
Process Improvement and Automation
: Identify ways to improve and streamline processes, including the use of digital tools and automation to boost efficiency and impact.
Record keeping and reporting:
Keep accurate records of jobs, candidates and applications to improve outcomes and meet targets.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in a successful
recruitment role
, ideally delivering 360 recruitment and ability to deliver job outcomes at scale.
Experience of working at high
pace and accuracy
in a target driven environment, and ability to consistently deliver above programme targets
Experience working with employers of all sizes - especially the
construction, built environment or green skills industries
Experience working with
entry-level jobseekers
or those with barriers to work, and/or providing careers support and employability
Proactive,
entrepreneurial
and a self-starter, comfortable both working independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to establish, optimise and semi-automate processes and very comfortable in the use of
data and digital tools
with good attention to detail
