About The Role




We are seeking a proactive and passionate Recruitment Coordinator to take a leading role in the recruitment and onboarding of staff across our residential care services. This is a people-focused role ideal for someone who thrives on building rapport, promoting meaningful careers in care, and helping others succeed in a rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities



Lead Recruitment Activities:

Take the lead in recruiting new team members, primarily for Support Worker positions, ensuring all homes operate with safe staffing levels.

Candidate Management:

Review CVs, shortlist suitable candidates, conduct interviews, and communicate outcomes to service managers. Manage high volumes of candidates and triage efficiently.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with service managers and internal teams to ensure recruitment aligns with operational needs.

Onboarding & Compliance:

Set up new starter profiles on internal systems, track new employees through the induction process, and complete necessary compliance checks (e.g., ID verification, reference checks, right to work documentation) to meet CQC and legislative standards.

Support Recruitment Campaigns:

Assist with the delivery of recruitment initiatives including job fairs, social media campaigns, assessment centres, and the creation of engaging video content.

Administrative Support:

Provide occasional business administration support to services as required.

Stay Informed:

Keep up to date with changes in government policy, recruitment practices, and sector-specific regulations.

Skills & Knowledge Required



Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and professionally. A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities. Confident in making timely hiring decisions and working to deadlines. Experience with recruitment processes, including shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding. Knowledge of compliance and safeguarding requirements in the care sector (desirable but not essential). IT proficient with the ability to use online systems and recruitment platforms effectively. Passionate about social care and promoting meaningful employment opportunities.
