Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top clinical and non-clinical talent to support the organisation's mission of delivering high-quality patient care. This role partners closely with hiring managers, HR teams, and organisational leadership to ensure an efficient, compliant, and candidate-focused recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of healthcare roles, including nurses, allied health professionals, physicians, administrative staff, and support services.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job postings, and create effective recruitment strategies.
Conduct sourcing through job boards, social media, talent pipelines, referrals, professional networks, career fairs, and campus partnerships.
Screen resumes/CV's, conduct initial teams interviews, and assess candidate qualifications in alignment with role requirements and regulatory standards.
Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, support selection decisions, and extend offers of employment.
Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
Maintain a high-quality candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
Promote the company's culture, mission, and values to prospective candidates.
Support employer branding initiatives, such as attending recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach programs.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Partnership & Collaboration
Work closely with HR, department leaders, and clinical managers to forecast staffing needs and identify recruitment priorities.
Provide hiring managers with guidance on interviewing, selection, and talent market trends.
Participate in workforce planning initiatives and help build long-term talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
Metrics & Optimisation
Track and report recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, candidate pipeline quality, diversity metrics, etc.).
Recommend process improvements to increase hiring efficiency and reduce turnover.
Stay current on recruitment best practices, market trends, and healthcare workforce challenges.
Qualifications
Required
Experience in global recruitment in medical services or healthcare related
2-5 years of recruiting experience, ideally within healthcare or a highly regulated industry.
Strong understanding of clinical and non-clinical role requirements.
Experience using an ATS and recruitment tools/platforms.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in human resources desirable
Experience recruiting nurses, allied health professionals, or other clinical disciplines.
Knowledge of healthcare labour market trends and credentialing requirements.
