Job Description

Purpose


To identify, attract, and hire individuals to work in a residential setting where children live and receive care.

To ensure that the children in our care are supported by staff who are motivated and well-suited to provide a nurturing, stable, and supportive environment.

The Recruiter will work Monday - Friday and will be based at the head office on Foxhall Road, Nottingham.

Responsibilities



Create and manage job postings across various platforms, including job boards, social media, and networking sites, ensuring they accurately reflect the role and attract appropriate candidates. Develop and implement strategies to attract candidates for roles in residential childcare and proactively contact potential candidates. Headhunt; identify and approach suitable candidates who may already be in employment. Build and maintain close internal relationships with Registered Managers and HR to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies with organisational goals. Match candidates to suitable jobs and present suitable candidates to Registered Managers Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding. Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments of candidates to ensure they meet the necessary qualifications, experience, and values required for residential childcare. Track and report recruitment metrics and provide regular updates on hiring progress and challenges. Support HR with pre-employment onboarding and safer recruitment checks, including DBS checks, reference checks, Right to Work checks.

What we offer



Working pattern is 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, times to be agreed. Salary is 28,000 - 32,000 per annum dependant on experience. Enhanced annual leave of 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. The post is subject to a six month probationary period.
