Job Description


As one of the largest care home providers in the UK, Avery Healthcare is looking for an experienced Recruitment Lead for an interim period with an immediate start, to report directly to the HR Director/ Head of Recruitment, and to lead our dedicated and enthusiastic Recruitment Team.

You will be joining Avery Healthcare at a very exciting time, having a hands-on approach and strong leadership abilities will benefit you greatly, allowing you to stay current in the sector and implement improvements and growth within the recruitment team and across the care homes and independent living services.

Role Overview

  • Support with the recruitment process for 98 care homes, from advertising vacancies to onboarding.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding and international recruitment coordinators with any queries and effectively oversee and delegate the fast-paced workload.
  • Attending monthly meetings with account managers from our partnered job boards, discussing strategies and sending vacancies to be sponsored.
  • Conducting Inductions for Home Managers and the Operational team.
  • Hosting monthly training sessions on the Right to Work and ATS processes across the business.
  • Support with and attend recruitment events.
  • Attend commissioning calls for the New Build homes, closely working with the new Home Manager to support the first stages of recruitment.

This role is Hybrid working and may require you to travel to both the Northampton and Slough Group Support Offices therefore holding a full, valid driving license and access to own transportation is preferable.

About You

To join us as the Recruitment Lead, you will need to have at least 2 years\' experience in a senior recruitment role within the health and social care sector. You will be confident in your abilities and able to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst supporting the HR Director and Head of Recruitment to ensure smooth processes and helping reduce agency hours.

As Recruitment Lead, you will have the ability to communicate at senior levels to build the best relationships with all of our homes. Your kindness, warmth and compassion will enable your team and any recruits to reach their full potential.
