Job Description

Based at either of our office spaces, in Aldermaston or Winnersh, with travel across the nursery group in Reading and Banbury.


Starting salary of 35,000, rising to 37,000 once achievable targets (to be set upon offer) are met.

About the Role




We're seeking a dynamic and proactive Recruitment Lead to take ownership of our recruitment function and drive our talent acquisition strategy across our nursery network. This is a busy, varied role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about finding exceptional childcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities



Recruitment Management



Own the recruitment process from initial application through to final placement Manage our ATS system (TeamTailor) to ensure efficient candidate tracking and communication Conduct thorough first stage interviews to identify top-quality, culture-fit and suitable candidates Coordinate and facilitate face-to-face interviews at nursery locations

Strategic Input & Travel



Contribute innovative ideas to recruitment strategy development Travel across our nursery network with particular focus on locations with higher recruitment needs Work closely with the HR Business Partner to align recruitment activities with business objectives Use initiative to identify and implement process improvements

Digital Marketing & Social Media



Create compelling social media content including reels and stories to showcase our nurseries Develop eye-catching graphics using Canva or similar design tools Implement indirect advertising strategies that highlight our exceptional nursery environments Grow and manage our social media presence to attract potential candidates organically Promote our company culture and values across digital platforms

Essential Requirements



Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential for multi-site travel) Must not have any disqualifications from working with children Willingness to complete Enhanced DBS check (we will provide full support with this process) Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within childcare, health or education sectors Strong interviewing skills with ability to assess candidate suitability effectively Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems Proficiency in social media management and content creation Competency with design tools (Canva or equivalent) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team
