Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Recruitment Manager
to lead our internal recruitment function. This is a hands-on role that involves managing a small team of in-house recruiters, headhunting for key positions, and ensuring the successful delivery of recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the Group to understand workforce requirements and ensure a robust talent pipeline to meet current and future needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support a team of two internal recruiters, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
Take ownership of end-to-end recruitment processes across a wide variety of roles, from skilled trades to management and executive-level positions.
Actively headhunt and source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and other direct sourcing techniques.
Build strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic recruitment support.
Oversee job advertisements, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and feedback processes.
Monitor and improve recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and negotiate terms when required.
Implement and maintain best practices in talent acquisition and candidate experience.
Use data and reporting to track recruitment activity and provide insight to HR and leadership teams.
Ensure compliance with employment law, data protection, and diversity and inclusion standards.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in an internal recruitment or talent acquisition role, team leadership or managerial experience.
Strong headhunting and direct sourcing capabilities across various platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, CV databases).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience recruiting within engineering or manufacturing sectors (desirable).
Ability to influence and advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices and market trends.
High level of discretion and professionalism.
