Job Description

Are you an energetic, hands-on recruiter looking for a rewarding short-term challenge? Thalia is seeking a six-month, in-house Recruiter to join our small HR team, remote with occasional travel to Wetherby (North Yorkshire) or Milton Keynes.

The Role

Own end-to-end recruitment for 15-20 live vacancies at any one time, spanning technical specialists and high-volume frontline roles Lead sourcing, screening, interviewing and offers in our Dayforce ATS Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver a first-class candidate experience Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and leverage data to keep processes on track Roll up your sleeves, be prepared to get stuck in on employer branding, social media outreach and ad hoc HR support

About You

Proven in-house (or agency) recruitment experience, ideally managing 15+ vacancies simultaneously Confident self-starter with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Comfortable using Dayforce ATS--or eager to learn it quickly Based (or happy to travel) within commuting distance of Wetherby or Milton Keynes Passionate about delivering quality hires in a fast-paced environment

We operate the best technology available across our four strategic sites in North Yorkshire, Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire and the Isle of Wight. Our technology includes everything from mechanical and biological treatment, traditional mass-burn energy from waste and material recycling technologies to in-vessel composting, advanced thermal treatment, innovative small-scale energy from waste and anaerobic digestion. In a single year we process 300,000 tonnes of waste that is turned into energy. This generates the same amount of energy as approximately 600 million solar panels. Similarly we recycle circa 95,000 tonnes of waste.
