Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00 - Includes participation in an on-call rota

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the recruitment and onboarding of high-quality care staff, ensuring sufficient workforce levels to meet client needs. This role also includes participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota and stepping in to deliver care when required, supporting continuity and quality of service.

Key Responsibilities:



Recruitment & Onboarding:



Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising roles, screening CVs, arranging and conducting interviews.

Carry out all pre-employment checks including references, right to work, and DBS checks.

Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new staff receive appropriate training, inductions, and compliance documentation.

Maintain accurate recruitment records and data in line with CIW requirements.

Work closely with the Branch Manager to forecast staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.

Represent the company at job fairs, community events, and local networks to attract new candidates.

On-Call Duties:



Participate in the company's on-call rota, responding to emergency calls from staff, clients, or healthcare professionals outside of office hours.

Ensure that all calls are handled professionally and documented accurately, taking appropriate action to resolve issues efficiently.

Coordinate emergency cover when staff are unable to attend their shifts.

Person Specification:



Essential:



Experience in recruitment, ideally within the health or care sector.

Previous experience in domiciliary or healthcare settings.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Flexibility to work on-call, including evenings and weekends.

Strong IT and administrative skills.

Desirable:



Knowledge of CIW regulations and compliance standards. Care experience and the ability to carry out care calls. Familiarity with care management software
