We are seeking a proactive and organised
Recruitment Officer
to join our company. This role is pivotal in ensuring we attract and retain high-quality professional staff for our supported accommodation and children's residential services. Working remotely, you will manage the full recruitment cycle and represent our organisation at key events to strengthen our employer brand.

Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Recruitment
Advertise roles across care-sector job boards, local networks, and specialist platforms.
Manage job descriptions, shortlist candidates, co-ordinate and conduct interviews, and oversee selection.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled applicants experienced in care and supported accommodation environments.
2. Event & Community Engagement
Represent the organisation at recruitment fairs, community outreach events, and sector networking opportunities. Please note this will include national travel however this will always be on a planned basis.
Develop partnerships with colleges, universities, and social-care training providers to attract new talent.
3. Workforce Planning & Risk Management
Monitor staffing levels and forecast gaps across supported accommodation and children's residential services.
Create proactive recruitment plans to anticipate turnover and growth needs.
Coordinate contingency measures to safeguard continuity of care.
4. Pre-Employment Compliance & Onboarding
Complete all pre-employment checks in line with safer recruitment guidance, this includes ensuring full and complete documentation as well as obtaining references, completing Enhanced DBS checks and verifying a candidate's right to work in the UK.
Coordinate onboarding and induction to ensure readiness for service delivery.
Maintain accurate recruitment records for regulatory inspections and internal reporting.
Who We're Looking For
Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within children's social care.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to travel occasionally for events and engagement activities.
Knowledge of compliance requirements (DBS, Safeguarding, Children's Residential and Supported Accommodation) is desirable.
