Job Description

We are looking for an experienced hands on Shift Supervisor who can join our enthusiastic team and bring with them the ability to successfully manage and motivate a team of people.

You will be working: Saturday - Tuesday (4 days per week - 40 hours)

Saturday and Sunday 0600 - 1800

Monday and Tuesday 0600 - 1430

Pay rate : 13.21 + 50p shift premium

You will report directly to and be supported by the Site Manager

The key responsibilities of the role are:

Supervising the team of Recycling and Cleaning staff on site Using bailing equipment & emptying cages Unloading trailers Use a variety of manual cleaning equipment and chemicals Inc. Buffering Machine and small pedestrian cleaning machines Leading a team to achieve KPI'S Ensure all cleaning tasks are recorded and spillage reports are completed Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors and visitors to the site Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness Ensure that all staff working hours are recorded Maintain and promote a positive working environment This position will include working with the team cleaning the site and would be ideal for someone who wants to progress in their career

To succeed in this role you will need:

The ability to write and speak clear, accurate English Can demonstrate successful supervisory experience preferably within the cleaning industry. Ability to deliver excellent customer service Strong organisational and practical skills The ability to follow site schedules
