Recycling Operative
Job Description
The Recycling Operative will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
Sorting and segregation of bulk waste electrical deliveries into relevant categories
Stripping down material to reclaim or recycle at component level
Operation of an industrial shredder and heavy plant / machinery
Carry out all yard activities and ensure all vehicles and deliveries are dealt with promptly.
Booking in material from off-site collections
Assist with offsite activities on third party customer sites.
Manual handling / Heavy Lifting involved
Any other task identified by the Production coordinator
Carry out all duties in accordance with all relevant safety, health, environmental, quality, and legislative requirements.
Maintain housekeeping at acceptable standards.
Report equipment defects promptly to management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.60 per hour
