Recycling Operative

A reputable Energy from Waste Plant is seeking a dedicated and physically capable individual to join their team as an Recycling Operative. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise industrial power hoses and shovels to effectively clean general waste and ensure the overall cleanliness of the site.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines, prioritising the well-being of oneself and others within the working environment.
• Follow designated cleaning schedules and consistently maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the plant.
• Assist in inspecting and maintaining cleaning equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas that require specialized cleaning or repairs.
• Support the implementation of waste management procedures to optimise operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Preferably possess previous experience in an industrial cleaning role.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labor tasks, including operating industrial power hoses and shovels.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to waste management and industrial cleaning.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Key Information

• 45.5 hours per week, from Monday to Thursday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and Fridays (7:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
• 6-month contract position.
• Hourly rate of \xc2\xa314.38 per hour.
