We are looking for a Business and Events Administrator to join our team--someone with strong IT and administrative skills who is proactive, reliable, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. This is a varied and rewarding role that supports both the daily running of our office and the smooth delivery of parties and events.
This role offers hands-on experience across front-of-house reception, customer service, and event coordination. You'll be a key part of the team that ensures bookings are managed professionally and that every customer experience runs smoothly from enquiry to event delivery.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Providing organised administrative support for day-to-day office and reception tasks
2. Managing and processing event and party bookings, including scheduling and liaising with customers
3. Coordinating party and event details with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
4. Acting as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and suppliers at reception
5. Maintaining stock levels, supplies, and general office organisation
6. Offering flexible support to the Party, Reception, Servery, Kitchen, and Office teams during busy times
7. Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner
Using a variety of software packages for communication, scheduling, and data entry
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Good numeracy and literacy
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
A friendly and approachable manner
A professional and confident phone manner
The ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure
A proactive, flexible, and can-do attitude
Excellent time management and attention to detail
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
